TINTIUM - Paint Industry

Tintium RY 4900 is transparent reddish yellow. It is highly recommended for use in lead - free paints. Opacity can be adjusted with opacifiers. With out opacifires it can be used to get metallic shades.

Tintium RY 3400 is opaque and more reddish. It is very highly weather resistant and light fast.

Both the grades belong to Pigment Yellow 139 class.

Tintium GY 5200 ( Pigment Yellow 185 ) is transparent greenish yellow of high tinctorial strength. It is suitable for lead free paints.

Both RY 4900 and GY 5200 are not recommended in alkaline media. RY 3400 can with stand alkali better but then it is not recommended in wet mortar.

Light fastness of Tintium is well suited for exterior paints. Gloss coating for automobiles, consumer durablescan be formulated with Tintium and can even replace cheap chrome pigments because of its high tinctorial strength. Resistance to overcoat varnish is a distinct strength.

Tintium is the solution to coloring problems of powder coatings. It blends easily and affords strong shades.
