TINTIUM High performance Organic Pigments

Tintium pigments developed by Chempon Group are softtextured, producing bright and clean shades with high tinting strength and outstanding single pass dispersibility in Printing Inks, Paints, Plastics and other similar media.

Most of the Yellow and Orange pigments used all over the world are of benzidine (deceptively called diarylide) type or of dangerous metals such as lead, chromium or cadmium. In the case of benzidine (diarylide) pigments, the azo compound cleaves with biological fluids and the carcinogen benzidine is released.

Tintium series of speciality colorants are available presently in 2 colours Reddish yellow and Greenish yellow .

Very soon we will be launching PY 110 and PY 109 and an orange pigment

Tintium pigments are more easily dispersible than any other comparable product.

Tintium is truly the future of the plastics industry. It serves in economical and environmental considerations as well as weatherfast properties

TINTIUM Pigments are among the best in the world for plastics industry for spun fibers, films etc. Masterbatch manufacturers specially prefer TINTIUM products for their excellent dispersibility and bright, clean colours. Due to their high tinctorial strength TINTIUM saves money for the users not insignificant.

TINTIUM Pigments are migration resistant. Presently TINTIUM RY 4900 is used for upto 250 c and GY  2700 for upto
240 c.

For gravure inks which require more flow TINTIUM 5200 series may be advantageously used. Due to high tinctorial value, smaller dosages may be used. There is no tendency to crystallise in solvent medium. Though easy flowing, the ink after application on the paper assumes thixotropy and hence sharp images were the result. In metal decorating inks Tintium withstands the temperatures involved with ease.

In flexo and screen inks due to the inherent stability to solvents. Tintium are the pigments of choice.

In plastisol inks Tintium yellows reign supreme.

Tintium RY-3400 is a very soft opaque pigment which gives opacity matching inorganic pigments, but maintaining the beauty of organic pigments RY- 3400 is used in powder coating, out door finishes and inkjet and laser toners.
